Guide
Is Likeness Rx legit?
A real business with a real prescription requirement. The question worth asking is what it dispenses and what it bills — $199 a month.
Updated 2026-10-04 · Prices verified independently
"Is Likeness Rx legit" is really two questions wearing one coat: will I be scammed, and is what I am being sold what I think it is. The first is usually easy. The second is the one worth your time.
"Legit" tends to mean two different things when people search it. One is "will I be scammed" — and on that, Likeness Rx behaves like a legitimate business. The other is "is what I am being sold what I think it is", and that is the question worth more of your time.
How we answer this
We do not run stings or place test orders. We check what is publicly verifiable — prescription requirement, regulatory category, pharmacy disclosure, whether the advertised price is the billed price, and what happens when you try to leave. That is a narrower claim than "trustworthy", and it is one we can actually stand behind.
What we verified
- Likeness Rx offers online access to compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide. Its public page lists semaglutide from $79/month; tirzepatide from $129/month.
- The lowest monthly equivalents accompany 12-month subscriptions: $948 for semaglutide or $1,548 for tirzepatide. One-month plans are $139 and $199. The page says the selected term renews automatically; check the amount due and cancellation date.

The five-point check
- Requires a prescription and a clinician review. Yes — Likeness Rx routes intake through a licensed clinician before anything ships. Any seller that does not is the single clearest warning sign in this market.
- Dispenses FDA-approved medication. No — this is a compounded preparation, which the FDA has not reviewed for safety, effectiveness or manufacturing quality. That is true of most low-cost programmes and is not by itself a mark against them, but you should know it.
- Names its compounding pharmacy. Yes, publicly — which puts Likeness Rx in a small minority of the programmes we track.
- Publishes its ongoing price. Partly. The advertised figure is $129 and the billed figure is $199 — The lowest monthly equivalents accompany 12-month subscriptions: $948 for semaglutide or $1,548 for tirzepatide. One-month plans are $139 and $199. The page says the selected term renews automatically; check the amount due and cancellation date.
- States what happens on cancellation. Less clearly than we would like. Check the terms before prepaying a multi-month plan.
What "compounded" means here
A compounding pharmacy prepares the medication against an individual prescription. It is legal and long-established, but the preparation itself is not FDA-approved. Since the shortages resolved the rules have narrowed considerably — see is compounded still legal.
Where it falls short
- Compounded medication is not FDA-approved
- Service, pharmacy fulfillment and outcomes have not been independently tested
Red flags we did not find
- No prescription requirement — not the case here.
- Medication sold as "research chemicals" or "not for human consumption" — not the case here.
- Prices far below every other seller, which usually signals an unlicensed source.
- No way to contact a clinician after purchase.
- No named clinical leadership anywhere on the site.
