Guide

Is Ivím Health legit?

A real business with a real prescription requirement. The question worth asking is what it dispenses and what it bills — $199 a month.

Why you can trust this: we take payment from one company on this page — Coreage Rx — when a reader signs up through our link. It does not change the prices we print or the rubric we score against, both of which are published in full on how we rate. Read our full disclosure.

Short answer: Ivím Health is a real, operating telehealth business that requires a prescription and a clinician review, and there is nothing in what we checked to suggest otherwise. The longer answer is about what exactly it dispenses and what it charges.

"Legit" tends to mean two different things when people search it. One is "will I be scammed" — and on that, Ivím Health behaves like a legitimate business. The other is "is what I am being sold what I think it is", and that is the question worth more of your time.

What we verified

  • All-inclusive pricing advertised at $199/month with no hidden fees.
  • Unlimited 1:1 virtual visits with licensed providers are included.
  • Dose is adjusted weekly based on reported progress rather than on a fixed calendar.
  • Includes holistic coaching, wellness masterclasses and a tracking app.
  • New patients are offered a complimentary 30-minute consultation.
  • Founded in 2021 by Dr. Taylor Kantor.

All checked 2026-09-18 from published sources.

The five-point check

  • Requires a prescription and a clinician review. Yes — Ivím Health routes intake through a licensed clinician before anything ships. Any seller that does not is the single clearest warning sign in this market.
  • Dispenses FDA-approved medication. No — this is a compounded preparation, which the FDA has not reviewed for safety, effectiveness or manufacturing quality. That is true of most low-cost programmes and is not by itself a mark against them, but you should know it.
  • Names its compounding pharmacy. Not publicly. Ask before you order, and ask whether it is a 503A pharmacy or a registered 503B outsourcing facility.
  • Publishes its ongoing price. Yes, and the advertised figure matches what you are billed.
  • States what happens on cancellation. Less clearly than we would like. Check the terms before prepaying a multi-month plan.

What "compounded" means here

A compounding pharmacy prepares the medication against an individual prescription. It is legal and long-established, but the preparation itself is not FDA-approved. Since the shortages resolved the rules have narrowed considerably — see is compounded still legal.

Where it falls short

  • Does not publish which compounding pharmacy fills the prescription.
  • Priced above the flat-rate leaders for the same class of medication.
  • The wellness and supplement upsells will not appeal to everyone.

Red flags we did not find

  • No prescription requirement — not the case here.
  • Medication sold as "research chemicals" or "not for human consumption" — not the case here.
  • Prices far below every other seller, which usually signals an unlicensed source.
  • No way to contact a clinician after purchase.
  • No named clinical leadership anywhere on the site.

Our verdict

Ivím Health is legitimate in the sense most people mean. Whether it is *right* for you is a separate question, and it comes down to the $199 a month and does not publish which compounding pharmacy fills the prescription. Our full assessment is in the Ivím Health tirzepatide review.
