The cheapest GLP-1 programmes, ranked honestly

If the only question is what leaves your account each month, this is the order. Every figure here is the ongoing cost — membership included, introductory rates ignored.

Teaser pricing is close to universal in this market. A $39 first month tells you nothing about the year, and a $99 medication price tells you nothing if a $99 membership renews beside it. So we threw the first-month numbers away and ranked on month two.

Cheapest GLP-1 programmes, by true monthly cost

The pattern is hard to miss. The programmes at the top of this table are the ones that do not charge a membership; the ones in the middle mostly advertise low medication prices and recover the difference in fees.

What the cheap numbers leave out

• Labs, where a clinician recommends them, are usually billed separately — Mochi is explicit about this.
• Oral and sublingual products are cheaper than weekly injections and are not the same treatment. Henry Meds and Hims & Hers both advertise using their oral tiers.
• Microdose programmes such as Noom’s $79 tier use deliberately low doses, well below the trial doses.
• Insured prices — the $25 a month figures you will see quoted — depend entirely on your plan approving the prescription.
• Annual plans carry the lowest rates but require prepayment. Check the refund terms before committing a year.

Brand-name prices, for comparison

Through LillyDirect self-pay, single-dose Zepbound vials at 5 mg, 7.5 mg and 10 mg have been listed at $499/month, with lower starting doses nearer $299-$349. Through NovoCare, Wegovy has been offered at $199/month for the first two fills through 31 December 2026, then $349/month for 0.25-2.4 mg doses. The oral form is listed between $149 and $299/month by dose.

Those are the approved products, reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness and manufacturing quality. Compounded versions are not. That difference is worth understanding before you choose on price alone — we explain it in is compounded still legal.
