Premier Physicians Weight Loss review: the Nevada clinic costs to ask about

A local medical practice with virtual appointments, fortnightly follow-ups and an unpublished cash-pay total. Here is what its public pages establish.

Premier Physicians Weight Loss & Wellness is the Nevada practice at premierweightloss.com, with services in the Las Vegas area and Reno. Its public offer combines medical appointments, nutrition, behaviour support and prescription management. That makes the appointment schedule and the complete clinic bill more useful comparison points than an isolated injection price.

We checked the practice’s public service, private-pay and insurance pages on October 15, 2026. This is a document-based review: we did not book treatment, inspect a patient invoice or independently confirm clinician credentials. The private-pay page explains the service but does not supply a dollar total, so we cannot rank Premier as a cheapest option.

What the private-pay programme includes

The private-pay page describes an initial consultation of approximately an hour and follow-up visits every two weeks. The practice says those appointments provide time with a provider to discuss progress and concerns. That is a meaningful commitment for someone comparing a local clinic with an online subscription: allow for the visit schedule as well as the payment schedule.

The same page says most prescribed medications can be dispensed in the office and that staff work with insurance benefit plans on authorizations for prescriptions sent through a preferred pharmacy. This does not establish that every GLP-1 product is kept in stock or included in a visit charge. Confirm the particular medicine, dispensing route and separate charges in your own plan.

A complete price still needs a written quote

No complete cash-pay amount was published on the private-pay page we reviewed. Its description of included services is useful, but it leaves unanswered what an initial visit costs, how follow-ups are billed, and which medication or laboratory charges are additional. Do not turn an absent price into a zero-dollar fee.

  • Request the initial assessment price and the number of follow-ups included in any package.
  • Ask for separate medication, repeat-lab, supply and delivery charges, where applicable.
  • Get the ongoing payment amount and billing interval, including any change after an introductory period.
  • Ask what happens to paid fees if treatment is unsuitable, a prescription is unavailable or you stop the programme.

A useful estimate shows the first billing period and an ordinary later period side by side. If the office quotes a per-visit rate, ask how many visits your plan is likely to involve before comparing it with a monthly service. Our GLP-1 cost guide explains this distinction; a quote remains an estimate until the actual treatment and billing terms are agreed.

Insurance acceptance is only the first check

Premier’s insurance page says eligibility depends on the insurer, the particular plan and other factors. A carrier name on a practice website does not confirm your individual coverage. Ask the clinic and insurer to check the specific location, clinician and service, then separately check prescription benefits and any authorization requirement.

This review does not reproduce the entire carrier list as a current coverage guarantee. We did not verify network participation or an individual benefit decision. An approved office visit and an approved medication claim are different things, and your out-of-pocket total can include a deductible or other patient share.

Virtual appointments do not establish nationwide access

The telehealth service page describes initial consultations, individualized plans and ongoing virtual check-ins. The private-pay page identifies Nevada prescribing, and the practice’s service pages focus on Las Vegas and Reno. Those facts support asking about remote care within its practice footprint; they do not establish availability in all states.

Before booking while away from home, tell the clinic where you will physically be for the appointment and ask whether that visit can be provided. Also ask which appointments, examinations or laboratory services require an in-person step. We did not test scheduling speed or clinician response times.

Confirm the actual prescription

The medication service page describes FDA-approved prescription options and names semaglutide and tirzepatide. A drug ingredient alone does not identify your prescribed brand, formulation or indication. Request the exact product and the pharmacy or office that will dispense it.

If a compounded product is proposed, it has a different regulatory status: FDA explains that compounded drugs are not FDA-approved and are not reviewed by the agency for safety, effectiveness or quality before marketing. This review does not establish that Premier will prescribe a compounded product to you, or that any specific prescription is appropriate.

Who may find this model practical

Premier may be worth discussing with a Nevada patient who wants regular appointments with a local practice and can accommodate the follow-up schedule. The unresolved cost total makes it unsuitable for a firm price ranking from public information alone. Ask for the written plan, payment terms, missed-appointment rules and cancellation policy before committing; none of those should be inferred from the availability of telehealth.
