Nuviva review: Florida clinics, a free consultation and the missing total
A closer look at its clinic footprint, remote-care claims, unspecified medication details and warning about unauthorized free-trial ads.
Updated 2026-10-15 · Public-source review · No clinical score
Nuviva presents its weight-loss service as a clinic programme with nutrition coaching, medical support and GLP-1 or dual GLP-1/GIP treatment when appropriate. Its public directory lists Florida locations, while its programme page also describes video appointments and sending medication and supplies to patients.
We checked Nuviva’s public programme, medication and location pages on October 15, 2026. They explain the service model but do not establish a complete treatment price or the exact prescription a new patient would receive. This review is based on those documents; we did not become a patient, test products or independently verify clinical outcomes.
The advertised entry point is a consultation
The homepage invites readers to book a free consultation through 844-268-8482 and says the line can be called around the clock. That is an appointment-contact claim. It does not establish continuous access to a treating clinician, immediate prescription approval or a free medication programme.
Use that first conversation to establish who will assess you, whether there are later assessment charges and when a paid treatment plan starts. A consultation can help explain options, but the clinical decision and the final written quote still matter. We did not test the telephone line or measure response times.
The clinic footprint is in Florida
The location directory lists Boca Raton, Cape Coral, Coral Springs, Fort Myers, Lake Mary, Melbourne, Naples, Orlando, Punta Gorda and Tampa. Check the relevant office directly for current appointment availability. A directory entry does not demonstrate that a particular clinician or medication is available at the time you book.
The programme explanation says video calls and delivery of medication and supplies can support people who cannot conveniently attend in person. We did not find a complete state-by-state eligibility list in the pages reviewed. Do not interpret that delivery statement as verified nationwide prescribing; tell the clinic where you will be located and confirm its ability to provide care there.
Ask for an itemized treatment total
The reviewed pages do not publish a complete dollar price for the programme or a definite ongoing GLP-1 bill. The programme description covers medical support, nutrition coaching and weekly check-ins. It also describes complimentary programme supplements alongside optional add-on supplements. Those descriptions do not establish that every treatment mentioned on the wider website is included in every patient’s fee.
- What is due after the free consultation, and on what billing schedule?
- Which visits, medications, supplies, tests and deliveries are included?
- Which supplements or other services are optional, and what do they cost separately?
- Does the price change with the prescribed product, treatment phase or visit frequency?
- What written cancellation, refund and missed-appointment rules apply?
Nuviva says there are no contracts or long-term obligations. That does not by itself answer whether an already paid fee is refundable or when a medication order becomes final. Ask for those conditions before paying for several visits or medication at once. The clinic addition to our cost guide explains how to compare a personalized quote with a subscription.
The medication category does not identify your product
Nuviva has separate pages describing GLP-1 treatment and dual GLP-1/GIP treatment. The reviewed public descriptions do not establish the exact named brand, formulation or regulatory status of the prescription an individual patient would receive. Ask for that information rather than assuming a category label means a particular approved product.
If a compounded medicine is proposed, FDA’s explanation is relevant: compounded drugs have not undergone the agency’s premarket approval review. Ask the prescriber why that formulation is being considered and which pharmacy will dispense it. We did not inspect Nuviva’s medication supply or independently establish product quality.
The dual-treatment page uses broad language about fewer side effects. We do not treat that marketing as a demonstrated safety advantage for this clinic or a guarantee for an individual patient. A supervised programme still requires a clinician to assess risks, explain the prescribed product and provide a clear route for reporting symptoms.
Verify a free-trial advertisement directly
The clinic directory carries a specific warning: Nuviva says it does not offer free-trial weight-loss programmes or devices through third-party ads. It directs people to info@nuvivaweightloss.com to verify a promotion. That statement is distinct from the free consultation advertised on Nuviva’s own site.
If an advertisement promises something different, confirm it through the published clinic contact before submitting payment or health information. We did not authenticate any individual advertisement in the supplied domain export, so this review does not label every ad mentioning Nuviva as unauthorized.
What to compare before choosing
Nuviva may be a practical option to discuss for someone seeking an ongoing relationship with a Florida clinic and nutrition team. The missing public total and unspecified patient-level prescription prevent a reliable price or product comparison without a written plan. Our Medi-Weightloss review shows how visit and medication charges can separate; our Premier Physicians review covers a Nevada practice whose cash-pay total also requires a quote.
